This policy summarises how our tent hire works.
A booking deposit secures your date. It is taken off your hire price. Your date is not reserved until we receive it.
The balance is due 3 days before your event.
A refundable security deposit is also taken.
We return it within 5 working days after we have inspected the tents, less any agreed damage charges.
All prices include VAT.
Cancel more than 48 hours before your event starts and we refund everything you have paid, including the booking deposit.
Cancel 48 hours or less before your event starts, or not be there to take delivery, and we keep the booking deposit.
Your security deposit is always returned. Please cancel in writing (email or message).The time we receive it counts.
Want a different date? Ask us as early as you can and we will do our best.
If we have to cancel, we refund everything you have paid or offer you a new date.
We deliver, set up and collect, or you can collect the tents yourself.
Delivery is charged by distance from Rotherham.
Self-collect is free. Set-up and take-down is charged per tent.
Please make sure the site is flat, clear and accessible, and that you have any permission needed from the landowner, venue or council.
Rain is fine. Strong wind is not. Tents must not be used in strong wind. Weights or stakes must stay in place for the whole hire.
If we decide it is unsafe to put up or keep up a tent because of the weather, we will refund the hire charge for the affected period or offer you a new date.
No barbecues, patio heaters, candles, fireworks or open flames under or within 5 metres of a tent.
Please do not hang heavy items from the frame, climb on it, or change the tent in any way.
Tents are for your event at the agreed address only, and may not be lent or sub-hired.
Please look after the tents from delivery until we collect them, and return them clean and in the same condition.
Damage and loss are charged at fixed rates, or at the repair or replacement cost.
We take these from your security deposit first. If you are not at home when we collect, the tents must be accessible and clear.
We hold public liability insurance of £5 million and can show you the certificate on request.
This covers our liability, not your event or your guests. We are not responsible for loss of or damage to items under the tents.
Nothing in this policy limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, or affects your legal rights as a consumer.
